You will visit two wineries and take part in a cooking class in one of them.
The first estate covers 170 hectares and is located right within Montefalco’s DOCG winemaking area. It is an awarded winery and has a background rich in history. The family is passionately committed to the territory and quality of their products. The wines are made exclusively from the estate’s organically grown grapes.
The host will welcome you to the kitchen where you’ll prepare a complete seasonal menu made of starter, 1st course, 2nd course with vegetables side dishes and dessert based on genuine Umbrian ingredients. At the end of the class you’ll taste the prepared meal with wine pairing. You’ll definitely appreciate the wine even more!
The second winery is an acknowledged leader in the production of top quality Sagrantino di Montefalco.
The owners turned the traditional methods used by the original estate that dates back to 1971 into a modern and innovative approach. Thanks to a constant research work and long term experimentation they produce top quality elegant wines with a unique character.
After visiting the vineyard and the wine cellar, you will taste the wines and a little selection of cold meats plus pecorino cheese. A different way to get to know the wine sector, very enjoyable!
The price includes: visit of two wineries and tasting with snack. Cooking class with final lunch in one of the wineries.
